Voice Lessons
Weekly private and group lessons are offered year round, from beginners to professionals. Stacie works with singers of all ages and will customize lessons to make the most of your time. She has particular experience with young voices, special needs students, and adult learners.
Music Theory
Music theory is the study and understanding of how music works. It examines music’s language and notation. Each lesson involves the implementation of various theory concepts. It is Stacie’s goal for each student to really understand how the music is structured.
Sight-Singing
Perhaps if you’ve ever played an instrument, you have tried to sight-read a new piece. As singers, we sight-sing! Stacie uses the solfeggio method (do, re, mi) or reinforces the method you might already be working with. Within lessons, you will do sight-singing exercises as well as work toward sight-singing your new repertoire.
Recitals
Bella Voce is proud of our students' work and loves to showcase their talents. Performing for a live audience is an important part of the learning process. Monthly recitals take place in an intimate setting at the studio. In June, the annual Spring Fling features the entire studio and all its accomplishments.
Coachings/Audition Preparation
Don’t have time for weekly lessons? Preparing a role for your next performance? Have an upcoming audition and need some extra help? Contact Stacie for individualized coaching on all genres of repertoire. Coachings focus specifically on character interpretation, performance anxiety and confidence building. I will help you pull your entire package together to make a memorable performance.
Piano for the Singer
This course is designed for the beginning piano student. Stacie will take you through this course learning scales, chord progressions, key signatures and simple songs. The eventual goal is to teach you how to play your warm-ups and ultimately accompany yourself on the piano while singing your repertoire.
