Stacie Pirozzi

Mezzo-soprano Stacie Pirozzi has been a private voice teacher in the Boston area since 1998. In addition to her private studio Bella Voce, she is an adjunct voice faculty member at the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham. Stacie is also a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).

Although trained as a classical singer, Stacie adapts her pedagogical technique to coach students in many genres of music including music theatre, pop, rock, jazz, and country.

Her students range from children to adults, beginner to professional. They have performed on Broadway, in National Tours, community theatre, school productions and in public recitals. Others also perform the National Anthem at Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Revolution home games.

As an avid performer of contemporary vocal music, Stacie has premiered works at the Warebrook Contemporary Music Festival and with the Zamir Chorale of Boston. She has performed with Boston Lyric Opera (BLO), BLO’s Opera New England and the Ithaca Opera Association. Additionally, she has appeared as a concert soloist with Chorus pro Musica, the Newburyport Choral Society, Mount Holyoke College, the Boston Boy Choir, and the Cayuga Vocal Ensemble

Stacie holds a Master of Music in vocal pedagogy from the New England Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance and music education from Ithaca College.

 


Mark McNeill, accompanist

Mark McNeillMark McNeill is a recent graduate of the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA, where he earned a graduate performance diploma with distinction in collaborative piano with an emphasis in vocal accompaniment. He has attended "Songfest at Pepperdine" as a Stern Fellowship recipient in Malibu, California, where he worked with Martin Katz, Graham Johnson, and Margo Garrett. Past recitals have taken him to Germany, Austria, Greece, and through the Northeast. In Boston, Mark has worked with Intermezzo, the New England Chamber Opera Series as assistant music director. He also has experience with both stage and musical directing, conducting and arranging for small orchestra, and audio recording/production.

A native of Boston, he began studying piano at a very early age and attended the Boston Conservatory of Music preparatory program as a teenager. After completing a Bachelor of Music summa cum laude in Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music, he returned to piano performance. His current and past teachers include Brian Moll, Elena Roussanova Lucas, and Meropis Kollarou.
